I am humbled to be appointed to serve on @americanmontessori Regional Action Commission and represent the state of Texas on a national level. Looking forward to working with this amazing team to advocate Montessori education in our states and regions, and to promote AMS membership as we help members feel more connected to the organization.

A journey that started as a sub… Tomorrow I am starting my 10th year at @archgatemontessoriacademy . This place is my second home and a true gift! Over the past 10 years as a guide, I have taught over 200 students, written numerous emails and newsletters, and have received outpouring love from my favorite humans, their parents and families, my coworkers and most of all my wonderful boss, mentor and friend @rbecbernard . We’ve shared laughter, joy, tears, ups and downs AND a pandemic 😉.

Handwritten notes, warmth of the sun and thinking of each of my favorite human as I write something personalized.

And it’s a wrap! I’m so grateful for these five weeks of summer. Instructing adult learners from the private and public sector has been a joy. It was a rewarding summer that has filled me with a different kind of energy.

This week children received the Third Great Lesson- Coming of Humans. In this lesson the importance of appearance of man on Earth is explored. The lesson highlights the special place of human beings, their special gifts and also makes the children aware of the universal needs of humans and some of the strategies they have used in the past to meet them.

My people and I just returned from #themontessorievent in Boston, MA. We returned home inspired, full of ideas and with a whole new energy to continue the work we love doing everyday!
